Prior to Alphagreen, Alexej has been working as an investor for a large-cap private equity fund and a family office where he ran the venture capital operations. He gained operational and board-level experience working closely with Compo Expert, the largest European specialty fertiliser business, as well as leading their trade sale. Alexej started his career in M&A at Nomura.

Tanya leads Galen Diligence, a risk consultancy working with high-integrity investors, operators, and their advisors in the legal cannabis industry. She combines Wall Street-level investigative due diligence with a deep understanding of the cannabis industry’s complicated regulatory context to inform investment strategies and protect clients from fraud. Since 2015, Tanya has advised clients on cannabis-related investments across the US and Canada, as well as in South America and Europe. She has been a specialized due diligence investigator since 2007. Tanya currently serves on the National Cannabis Industry Association’s Banking & Financial Services Committee (2019 – 2020), and previously served on the State Regulations Committee (2018 – 2019). She is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, and a licensed Private Investigator in Massachusetts and Colorado.

Furthermore, he represented the Czech Republic in meetings in the EU area, Eastern Partnership countries area, occasionally the US; these being related to UN meetings, Council of the EU meetings and Council of Europe meetings.
